During my career I have worked at a Montessori day Nursery for 23 years where I was fortunate to work with different age ranges of children varying from 6 weeks to 5 years, where I built up a lovely partnership with parents and the children during my time there.
I became a Deputy officer in charge and was looking after the day to day running of the Nursery too.
For the past few months I have had a wonderful opportunity working at the Merton Primary school in the early year’s reception class as a Learning Support Assistant, which has given me some great experience working in a school environment.
Molly - Nursery Practitioner
My name is Molly Stimpson, I am level 3 qualified and have been working with children since leaving college. Over the years I have had lots of experience with children, and I love to see them grow, develop and be happy. Throughout my experience I have worked closely with preschool children, getting them ready for school, helping to build their independence and allow them to develop into their own individual character. I have developed skills in teaching phonics and numbers during my time within the preschool sector. I have worked with toddlers and babies too.
My strong points I believe I have is I love being creative, using my ideas to allow the children to get imaginative, messy and learn through play. I am very hands on and will get stuck in with the children and have fun with them too. Family is very important to me and so is happiness and I would love to bring that to the setting. I believe I am an approachable person and easy to get along with, so I am happy to help any queries parents may have and I will always be here to comfort and ensure your child is happy. I have worked alongside most of the ladies at the setting, and I cannot wait to be apart of such a beautiful setting.

I love helping children learn and develop and take great satisfaction in doing so. I enjoy being creative and providing lots of different experiences for your little ones to take part in. In July 2020 me and my husband welcomed into the world our first child. He has played a massive part in our life since that day. After missing out on not being able to go to groups, do activities and go on days out during my maternity leave due to repeated lockdowns I chose to take some extra irreplaceable time out from work with my little boy. When we felt the time was right that he was ready to explore the nursery world we came to view Cherry Tree Nursery and instantly fell in love with the setting. Not only did me and my husband no it was the right setting to send our son but I knew it would be an incredible nursery to work in!!
I look forward to meeting you all soon!!
