At Cherry Tree we will offer three meals a day to our children dependant on sessions chosen. These shall include breakfast, lunch and tea. Breakfast shall consist of a variety of cereals, lunch will be a hot cooked meal with either a hot or cold pudding and tea shall be something light, either hot or cold, accompanied by a pudding. The children shall also be offered refreshments throughout the day, one of which fresh milk shall be offered. Water shall be offered and encouraged throughout the day and children in the early years will be able to self-access the water station at any time.

All our staff are trained in food hygiene and will deliver an excellent standard of care when it comes to refreshments and mealtimes. They shall encourage this time to be an enjoyable, sociable time, and share with you at the end of each day how your child has eaten. We will encourage the children to help design our menus when we review them to fit with the seasons and ask our parents opinions too. 

We are delighted to have a cook with years of experience working in nurseries join our team. Her knowledge with catering for food allergies and other dietary/religion requirements is outstanding. Our nutritional menus have been designed to ensure your little ones leave the table full. Our menus are up in the hallway for your viewing and show the 14 allergens when these are present within dishes.
